Marty Cross

Marty Cross

Following Mathew Street’s day one podium at Marty Cross in his first race for Team Sixcycle-RK&O, the timing worked out on Sunday to squeeze in a morning team ride to celebrate Bryan Fried’s birthday before swinging by the afternoon fields at Marty Cross Day Two.

While my current lack of fitness (and broken bike) were sufficient to keep me from taking in any of the action, it was still a beautiful backdrop to snag a few pictures of the racing, including a few from Evan Murphy’s dominant win in the Elite Men’s race.

Add in a post race stop at a nearby farm for cider donuts and apple pie (sadly no time to take in the corn maze) and you have an abbreviated but great day at the races.
