Best moment on the bike: Suffering for 6:47 to win the “Something Wicked Cathedral Pines” endurance mountain bike race. I’ve never had to dig so deep in my life.
Why did you start racing: I raced mountain bikes through college and had the need to compete again
Favorite race: Any race that is flat. Somerville is a fantastic event.
Biggest influence in your life: My wife, Veronica. Anything is possible with her support
Favorite food: Mom’s Thanksgiving dinner
Racer Bio: Tom Mikolinski began racing mountain bikes in 1994 and raced through 1997 reaching the semi-pro level. After 10 years away from competition, Tom returned to racing, this time on the road.
